Welcome to IDPTools ("IDPTools", "we", "our", or "us"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the IDPTools website and related tools available at https://idptools.com (the "Service").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service.

1. Description of the Service

IDPTools is an open-source identity and access management (IAM) debugging and analysis toolkit designed to assist users in examining, decoding, validating, and troubleshooting identity-related data and protocols.

The Service is provided for informational, educational, development, testing, and troubleshooting purposes only.

2. No Account Required

The Service does not require user registration or account creation.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from users through account registration because no user accounts exist.

3. Client-Side Processing

Unless explicitly stated otherwise:

• Processing performed by the Service occurs within your browser.
• Data entered into the tools is processed locally on your device.
• Data submitted to the tools is not transmitted to, stored on, or processed by our servers.
• The Service does not maintain a backend database containing user-submitted IAM data.

Because the Service operates primarily through client-side processing, users remain responsible for determining whether information entered into the tools is appropriate for their environment and security requirements.

4. No Data Storage

IDPTools is designed so that information entered into the tools is not intentionally stored by us.

We do not maintain records of:

• JWTs
• SAML assertions
• OAuth tokens
• OpenID Connect data
• Identity provider configurations
• Authentication logs
• User-submitted debugging information

Users are responsible for safeguarding any information they choose to enter into the Service.

5. Analytics

To understand website performance, reliability, traffic patterns, and feature usage, the Service uses Google Analytics.

As a result:

• Certain usage information may be collected by Google.
• Information may include browser type, device information, pages visited, session duration, approximate geographic location, referral sources, and similar usage metrics.

7. No Professional Advice

The Service does not provide:

• Any output is correct.
• Any validation result is accurate.
• Any protocol implementation is complete.
• Any decoded data is interpreted correctly.
• Any security conclusion is valid.
• The Service will remain available or uninterrupted.

Users must independently validate all results.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IDPTOOLS, ITS CONTRIBUTORS, OWNERS, MAINTAINERS, AFFILIATES, AND LICENSORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

10. User Responsibilities

Nothing in these Terms grants ownership rights to users.

Continued use of the Service following publication of updated Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
